BALPA hopes that by writing these publications to encourage a sense of proportion and an evidence-based approach, which is open and honest about assumptions surrounding Aviation and the Environment.

There are climate scientists and specialists, whom we and others have spoken to and quoted in our publications, who are also experts on the aviation industry and its effect on the global economy.

Climate change is a serious issue for all of us. We hope that our publications will open up the debate about how we will meet that challenge and the part that the airline industry should play in reaching solutions.
