BALPA’s Annual Delegate Conference held over the weekend of 20th/21st November was, by popular consent, a hugely successful conference that got to grips with some tough issues and showed that, despite the economic battering of the past 12 months, BALPA has renewed energy and commitment to stand up for the profession.

TUC General Secretary, Brendan Barber, was a guest speaker on Friday 20th November. He spoke on ID cards, climate change, Europe, contract pilots and much more.
