BRISTOW RECOMMEND 3 YEAR PAY DEAL

BALPA members employed by Bristow Helicopters are currently being balloted on a 3 year pay deal.
Mick Brade, Principal Negotiator who led the negotiations said:
“We submitted a detailed pay claim to management in the early part of this year and have held a number of negotiation meetings since then. I am delighted to report that management have now made a final offer which is a 3 year deal to include a pay rise for all members of 5.7% in year 1, a pay rise of 4.2% or RPI, whichever is greater in year 2, followed by a pay rise of 4.2% or RPI, whichever is greater in year 3”.
Mick went on to say:
“We have also secured a range of other improvements to terms and conditions of employment and allowances which are detailed in the attachment.”
Mick concluded by saying:
“The Bristow Company Council have no hesitation in unanimously recommending that members vote in favour of accepting the final offer in the ballot that is currently underway, the result of the ballot will be published on Thursday 28th August.”
