PAS PILOTS SAY YES TO 5% PAY RISE
02/12/2008

BALPA members employed by the Police Aviation Services (PAS) have voted to accept a 5% pay rise.
Mick Brade, Principal Negotiator who led the negotiations said:
“I am delighted to report that our members have voted overwhelmingly to accept management’s final offer which will see all pilots salaries increase by 5% from 1st January 2009.”
Mick went onto say:
“This is a very simple and straightforward settlement for BALPA members. There are no strings attached and the deal is good news for all concerned, especially given the economic downturn currently being experienced, it is also affordable and sustainable.”
Mick concluded by saying thank you to the other members of the Company Council for the support they have given throughout the negotiation process.
