About: this is a non-profit organization providing opportunities to orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children in the northwest area of the Dominican Republic. There are about 70 children at the various orphanages, but they also provide opportunities and supplies to over 2000 children in rural communities.
How to get there: hiring a taxi is the best way. The address is Calle Altagracia #80, Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic. The orphanage is always open, so there is no real need to coordinate ahead of time but the Director's name is Coco, and her phone number is +1809 (0) 829-342-6379.
What to take: A full list of needed items can be found at
