BALPA has reiterated its support for Thomas Cook management’s plans to sell its airline business to the Chinese company, Fosun.

Brian Strutton said, “We have maintained good contact with Thomas Cook management through this sale process, and we are confident that the proposal with Fosun is in the best long-term interest of the company, its customers and staff. We hope and believe this sale will be complete soon so that the company can concentrate on its recovery plan.”
