BALPA members elect a pilot to top union role 

Members of the British Airline Pilots’ Association have elected a former pilot to the role of General Secretary of the organisation.  

Captain Martin Chalk, a former British Airways Pilot takes over the permanent leadership role at the union after a three-month stint as the Acting General Secretary.
