BALPA supports members as FTA Global goes in to administration
The British Airline Pilots’ Association says the news FTA Global has gone into administration is devastating for its members.
BALPA has already contacted affected members to offer bespoke support.
BALPA’s Head of Membership and Career Services, Wendy Pursey said:
“We know this is a huge shock for our members at FTA and I’d like to reassure them that BALPA will do all it can to support them though this difficult time.
“We have already contacted the BALPA Benevolent Fund and will be providing bespoke advice and resources going forward. We are doing all we can to guide them though their options and help them continue their aviation journey.
“This is an extra blow to students after Tayside Aviation also recently went into administration, BALPA has been long campaigning for a fairer way to fund flight training.”
